COMPETITION CHECK

Usable at G1, G2 or G3?

The grade describes the event tier. It is not a universal whitelist for a combo. The current Asia regulation governs play, while each Malaysian event notice may add entry, release, age or equipment conditions.

G1

Major tier

Large or qualifying event. Read the exact Malaysian event notice before buying or entering; organiser instructions take priority.

G2

Higher-level tier

Often a larger B4 or special tournament. Format, class and allowed releases are set by the organiser.

G3

Frequent local tier

Current KSGB listings commonly use 3-on-3, first to 4 points, with no repeated parts across the three Beys.

Four checks before you register

Read Asia Regulation Vol. 11Check Malaysian event listings
  1. Takara Tomy Beyblade X parts only, unless that event notice explicitly says otherwise.
  2. Every part must have an official Malaysian release for KSGB-listed official events.
  3. No duplicate part across a 3-on-3 deck, even if the colours differ.
  4. No modification, excessive wear or unsafe parts; the judge has the final decision.
HOW RECOMMENDATIONS WORK

Evidence first. Practice decides.

Official sources confirm the product system and event rules. Independent parts databases add measured specs, while recent tournament datasets show which combinations reach top cuts. Recommendations marked “current meta” have the strongest result evidence; the rest are safe testable starting points, not guarantees.

THE DAILY LAUNCH

Test one recommendation today.

Run five launches with the stock combo, then five with the recommended combo. Keep launch strength and position consistent. Record which setup wins more cleanly and which is easier to control.
